Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At The Royal Escape Tours LLC, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation and Refund Policy sets out the terms under which cancellations, modifications and refunds are handled for all our tours and experiences.

We strongly recommend that all Guests read this policy carefully before making a booking. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.

2. Cancellation by the Guest

2.1 Standard Tours (Desert Safari, City Tours, Nature Tours)

  • Cancellation 48 hours or more before the tour: Full refund
  • Cancellation 24–48 hours before the tour: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the tour: No refund
  • No-show (failure to arrive at the designated meeting point): No refund

2.2 Private Yacht Charters

  • Cancellation 7 days or more before the charter date: Full refund
  • Cancellation 48 hours – 7 days before the charter date: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before the charter date: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

2.3 Shared Yacht & Houseboat Tours

  • Cancellation 24 hours or more before departure: Full refund
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before departure: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

2.4 Superyacht Experience & Yacht Party

  • Cancellation 48 hours or more before the event: Full refund
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before the event: No refund
  • No-show: No refund
  • These events are ticketed experiences and late cancellations cannot be resold.

2.5 Water Sports (Jet Ski, Parasailing, Flyboard, etc.)

  • Cancellation 24 hours or more before the activity: Full refund
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the activity: No refund
  • Activities are subject to weather and sea conditions. In the event of a weather cancellation, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.

3. Cancellation by the Company

The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify any tour or experience due to the following reasons:

  • Adverse weather conditions or rough sea conditions deemed unsafe by the Company’s captain or operations team
  • Mechanical failure or vessel maintenance requirements
  • Insufficient minimum guest numbers for shared tours (where applicable)
  • Force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest or pandemics

In the event of a Company-initiated cancellation, Guests will be offered one of the following:

  • A rebooking on the next available date at no additional cost
  • A full credit valid for 12 months from the original booking date
  • A full cash refund to the original payment method within 7–14 business days

4. Modifications & Rescheduling

  • Requests to reschedule a booking must be made at least 24 hours before the original tour date (48 hours for yacht charters).
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and may be subject to price differences if the new date falls in a different pricing period.
  • Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before a tour will be treated as a cancellation and the standard cancellation charges will apply.
  • Each booking may be rescheduled a maximum of two (2) times. Subsequent changes may incur an administration fee.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Any optional paid add-ons or upgrades that have already been arranged or procured
  • Processing fees or booking fees where applicable
  • Tickets for third-party attractions included as part of a tour package

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.
  • Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
  • The Company is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or banks.
  • Refunds will be issued in AED. Any exchange rate differences are the Guest’s responsibility.

7. Weather & Force Majeure

  • The safety of our Guests and crew is our highest priority. We reserve the right to cancel or modify any tour at any time if conditions are unsafe.
  • Weather-related cancellations by the Company entitle Guests to a full refund or rebooking.
  • The Company will not be held liable for any consequential losses (e.g., flight costs, hotel bookings, or other expenses) arising from a tour cancellation for any reason.
  • We strongly recommend that all Guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential losses from cancellations.

8. How to Cancel or Modify a Booking

All cancellation and modification requests must be submitted in writing via one of the following channels:

Please include your booking reference number, name and reason for cancellation when submitting a request. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
